Residential Learning

In past PentaTr@ining courses, our experienced international faculty, including authors and tutors of the online course, has delivered a 3-day face to face training workshop at the end of the online course. The residential course embraces a true collegiate spirit, consisting of lectures, interactive working groups, real-life clinical case discussions, role playing and quizzes. Moreover, all delegates are strongly encouraged to bring with them clinical cases from their own professional experience to share and discuss with the faculty and other students during the course. These workshops are purposefully structured in a way that maximises teacher/student interaction, encourages delegates to be proactive participants and consolidates the knowledge they will have acquired during the online course

However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic there will be no residential training for the 2020 course. While we regret that we are unable to meet in person for the face-to-face component of the training this year, the safety and well-being of all our course participants is our first priority. We are instead providing interactive webinars with each module and a ‘Virtual Online Live Training Day’, which will complete the online course. This will be an opportunity to bring delegates and faculty members together ‘virtually’ for a day of fun and interactive clinical case based discussions, presentations and quizzes! See the Virtual Training Day page for more information on this.

Previous residential courses have been accredited by the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS-EACCME). We are working with the EACCME to accredit the live webinar sessions during the 2020 online course. This is pending approval.
